Eleven years ago Israeli director Eytan Fox made “Yossi & Jagger,” a powerful film that was remarkable for depicting gay love between two Israeli soldiers. It ended tragically – it was during the Lebanon war – and like many viewers, Fox also wondered what became of Yossi (Ohad Knoller).
In this sequel, he tells a story that is both specific and universal.
